GASRID-O Syrup is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:

  • Stomach and bowel ulcers
  • Inflammation of the stomach
  • Pain associated with swollen vein of anus
  • Chronic digestive disease
  • Abdominal swelling

GASRID-O Syrup Working, Mechanism of Action and Pharmacology
GASRID-O Syrup improves the patient's condition by performing the following functions:

  • Forming a protective lining over the ulcer.
  • Inhibiting the gastric juice secretion.

GASRID-O Syrup - Composition and Active Ingredients
GASRID-O Syrup is composed of the following active ingredients (salts):

  • Sucralfate - 1000 MG
  • Oxetacaine - 20 MG

GASRID-O Syrup - Side-effects

GASRID-O Syrup - Precautions & How to Use
Before using GASRID-O Syrup, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling points are listed below.

  • Avoid taking any other medications within 2 hours before or after
  • Continuous treatment with oxetacaine should be avoided
  • Do not drive or operate machinery
  • Do not use oxetacaine if allergic to it
  • Should be swallowed as a whole
  • Take this medication on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal

GASRID-O Syrup - Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to GASRID-O Syrup is a contraindication. In addition, GASRID-O Syrup should not be used if you have the following conditions:

  • Allergic reactions
  • Hypersensitivity
  • Hypophosphatemia
  • Severe renal dysfunction
