What is TAB M-STAT?
TAB M-STAT is used for Abnormal bleeding from the womb, Heavy menstrual bleeding, Severe loss of blood, Blood clotting problems, Swelling in various body parts, Capillary bleeding and other conditions. This salt combination may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide. TAB M-STAT Uses:
TAB M-STAT is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:

  • Abnormal bleeding from the womb
  • Heavy menstrual bleeding
  • Severe loss of blood
  • Blood clotting problems
  • Swelling in various body parts
  • Capillary bleeding
  • Neonatal intraventricular haemorrhage
  • Melena
  • Hematuria
  • Epistaxis
  • Secondary bleeding due to thrombocytopenia
  • TAB M-STAT may also be used for purposes not listed here.

TAB M-STAT Working, Mechanism of Action and Pharmacology:
TAB M-STAT improves the patient's condition by performing the following functions:

  • Preventing bleeding.
  • Improving platelet adhesiveness and restoring capillary resistance.

TAB M-STAT - Side-effects:
The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur in medicines that contain TAB M-STAT. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.

  • Fainting
  • Unusual pain or swelling in arms or legs
  • Nausea
  • Sudden breathlessness
  • Coughing up of blood
  • Loose motion
  • TAB M-STAT may also cause side-effects not listed here.

TAB M-STAT - Precautions & How to Use:
Before using TAB M-STAT, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling points are listed below.:

  • Be careful in case of irregular menstrual bleeding, thromboembolic disease, haematuria, or hypotension
  • Consult a doctor if you have acute porphyria, fever with treatment, non-cancerous growths or blood pigment disorder
  • Do not continue this drug and consult your doctor if you experience skin rashes or other serious symptoms
  • Do not use before onset of bleeding during periods
  • Lactation
  • Notify doctor if have allergies to sulfites or wheat

TAB M-STAT - Drug Interactions
If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of TAB M-STATmay change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. TAB M-STAT may interact with the following drugs and products:

  • Acetaminophen
  • Albuterol
  • Ascorbic acid
  • Aspirin
  • Clopidogrel
  • Cyclobenzaprine

TAB M-STAT - Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to TAB M-STAT is a contraindication. In addition, TAB M-STATshould not be used if you have the following conditions

  • Active intravascular clotting
  • Before the start of menstruation
  • Colour vision disorders
  • Hypersensitivity
  • Severe renal failure
  • Subarachnoid bleeding
