What is Penclox-LB Cap?
Penclox-LB Cap Capsule is used for Bacterial infections, Constipation, Bacterial infections of lungs, Bacterial infection, Antibiotic associated diarrhea, Bacterial infections of ear, Bacterial infections of throat, Bacterial infections of gums, Anorexia, The treatment of beta-hemolytic streptococcal infections and other conditions. Penclox-LB Cap Capsule may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide. Penclox-LB Cap Capsule contains Amoxycillin, Cloxacillin and Lactic Acid Bacillus as active ingredients.

Penclox-LB Cap Capsule is composed of the following active ingredients (salts)

Penclox-LB Cap Capsule - Precautions & How to Use
Before using Penclox-LB Cap Capsule, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling points are listed below.

  • Candidiasis.
  • Cardiopulmonary bypass.
  • Consult your doctor immediately if you develop watery or bloody diarrhea during or after this medication.
  • Do not take it for more than 2 weeks.
  • Do periodic assessment of renal, hepatic or hematopoietic functions.
  • Fatal hypersensitivity.
  • Impaired renal, hepatic and hematopoietic functions.
  • Inflamed meninges.
  • Inform doctor if you have been taking corticosteroid medication.
